How do I make the text larger?

Netscape Users

Internet Explorer Users

To make text larger, look under the edit option in the browser's menubar:

  1. Go to View in the browser's menubar
  2. Go to Increase Font Size
  3. Repeat until text is the desired size

or:

On a Mac

  1. While holding down the shift button and the apple button, press the ] key ( shift+apple+ ] )
  2. Repeat until text is desired size

On a PC

  1. While holding down the control key and press the ] key ( ctrl+ ] )
  2. Repeat until text is desired size

To make text larger, look under the edit option in the browser's menubar:

  1. Go to View in the browser's menubar
  2. Go to Text Size or Text Zoom
  3. Choose desire text size

Why won't some parts of Kidney School work for me?

In order to use the Kidney School website, your web browser must be set to accept javascript and cookies.

Javascript is a computer language that allows Internet sites to provide rich, dynamic content and enable more powerful features. Javascript is very secure, and most browsers support it.

Cookies are small pieces of data that are stored on your computer when you browse our site. They allow us to remember who you are when you come back, and store information while you use Kidney School. No one else can read your cookies, and we do not store any personal data in them.

How come nothing happens when I click on some links?

Why can't I view the rollovers or the animations?

All of the animations and some of the rollovers in Kidney School require Macromedia's Flash 5.0 player. The plug-in is relatively small (170KB) and enables your browser to view certain types of animations.
